  • Inside every tooth, there is a soft part called the pulp (nerve and blood supply). When it gets infected or damaged, it causes severe pain.

  • DEVEX Pulp Devitalizer Paste is placed inside the cavity of the affected tooth.

  • The paste slowly stops the activity of the nerve (pulp) by breaking down its function.

  • As the nerve becomes inactive (devitalized), the pain gradually reduces or disappears.

  • After this step, the dentist can safely perform a Root canal treatment to clean and seal the tooth.

  • Think of it like:
    👉 “Temporarily turning off the nerve” so the dentist can treat the tooth without intense pain.

⚠️ Important:
This is a temporary step, not a full treatment. The tooth still needs proper dental treatment afterward.
